i’m moving!

after lots of thought, i’ve decided to move to a new site. check out: whowouldntlovethat.com! thanks, tumblr!

decorate your kitchen for $5 with vintage postcards! in new orleans, a lot of the gift shops sell postcards that are beautiful reproductions of vintage food labels. i bought a lot of them. you can find many online here. put a frame on a few of your favorites and artfully arrange. presto! kitchen decorated! who wouldn’t love that?

easiest, no cook, party app! fresh mozzarella balls + prosciutto+ basil + roasted red peppers. wrap these ingredients in whatever combination you like around some toothpicks. you have the perfect party app and no cooking required! who wouldn’t love that?

guinness “infused” chocolate mousse for st patrick’s day! this is maybe the most delicious mousse i’ve ever tasted. find the recipe here. word to the wise: skip the guinness flavored whipped cream (labor intensive and apparently tastes not so great). this mousse is creamy and chocolatey with a hint of guinness that will rock your socks it is so good. an original and tasty way to celebrate the holiday this weekend. who wouldn’t love that?

a little congratulatory gift! a friend got some very good news recently. so i put a little package together to send him (hoping he doesn’t check out the blog for a few days and spoil the surprise!) i started out with some stationery from motel deluxe (also pictured separately). then finished it off with a chocolate bar from maison bouche, a tiny notebook, and another little note. who wouldn’t love that?

it’s 70 degrees in new york. so let’s talk about my favorite summer drink alternative to lemonade: lemony apple cider. just squeeze some lemons into your favorite cider and voila! a wintery drink gets a lemony summer punch. it’s delicious and easy. who wouldn’t love that?

chocolate beet cake! i was inspired by this video and this recipe. then i did some research and people were freaking out about how beets make the most incredible, velvety, chocolate cake in the world. then they said you couldn’t even taste the beets. so, i had to try and….it’s true! so, now you can feel healthy while eating an incredible chocolate cake since there’s at least a one beet per slice ratio going on. who wouldn’t love that?

the coolest looking, best sounding headphones ever from house of marley!  i have been through about 5 different pairs of headphones in the past few years and these are my favorite. the cord is threaded, so it never gets tangled. the sound is warm, but clear. they cost less than other fancy headphone brands. oh! and they are brightly colored (aka difficult to misplace) and inspired by bob marley. who wouldn’t love that?

this card from sapling press is hilarious. i also think one of the nicest things a person can do is send a note for no reason at all. this is the perfect card for such an occasion. who wouldn’t love that?
